A chainsaw is a useful tool in many industries, but operating a chainsaw can be dangerous if the right precautions are not taken. According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are about 36,000 chainsaw-related injuries each year. The risk of injury can be minimized by using safe operating procedures and wearing the proper personal protective equipment, or PPE. This course is intended for workers in general industry that operate chainsaws. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
