Course Description
Ladders are one of the most common and simple tools people use on the job. It’s easy to forget that they can also be extremely dangerous. Each year in the United States, accidents involving ladders cause approximately 300 deaths and 130,000 injuries requiring emergency medical attention. This course should assist learners in identifying different types of ladders and general safe practices working on ladders. It will also help learners recognize the importance of ladder inspection, set-up and location, and the best practices for safe ladder use. This course is presented in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Polish and Mandarin.
