Scaffolding is a very versatile and useful tool for construction or repair of buildings. It can be assembled and disassembled easily and can be built very tall or wide, depending on the building’s shape. But as with any tool, using scaffolding requires care and knowledge. This course will teach employees the basics of staying safe while working on scaffolds. Employees will learn the definition of a scaffold, the potential hazards of working on a scaffold like falls, electrocution and scaffold collapse and major hazard control methods.
